FHAGBI
was registered at Companies House on 31st July, 1995. It's aim is to
promote the pure breeding of Friesian horses in accordance with the
Breeding Rules & Regulations of Het Friesch Paarden Stamboek ("FPS")
- The Royal Society the Friesian Horse Studbook in Friesland, the Netherlands.
The FPS
is recognised as the European Mother Studbook of the Friesian Horse
and is the world-wide authority on the Friesian Horse. FHAGBI is the
sole authority recognised by the FPS in Great Britain and Ireland and
is working under their guidance. The FPS also has associations in France,
Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, North America
(FHANA), Canada,
South Africa and Australia.
